Q: Olle I'm a 17 year old female and would love to have a go at riding a speedway bike.  My father asks will I be safe, and am I too young ?

A: I have taught many young women (younger than you) and I will only demand of you what you are capable of.                             

Q: What kind of track surface are these courses run on?

A: It is today the most exciting speedway track in England.  It is 360 yards shale track and very smooth with wide and well designed bends.

Q: How difficult is it?

A: Its not easy.  That's why I have started the Olle Nygren sliding schools.  Now it is not so difficult.  Because you are fenced in all the way round you really have to start right from the beginning.  Even if you have other bike experiences.  Bravery gets you nowhere before you know how.

Q: Is it true that the bikes have no brakes, etc?

A: Yes, and hardly any suspension in a very light frame fitted with a 60 hp racing engine.
